Project Detailing
This project aimed to create the visual identity and promotional materials for the short film The Longest Summer of My Life, directed by Mavi Mourenço and Felipe Risallah.
The proposal was to transform the atmosphere of the narrative, light, emotional, and marked by the climate of Brazilian summer, into a visual language capable of engaging the audience and conveying the essence of the film.
Challenge
The main challenge was to visually translate the feeling of an unexpected encounter on a summer day, capturing the gentle rhythm of the story and the emotions that arise throughout this journey.
The identity needed to reflect the lightness of the coast, the warmth of the season, and the intimacy of the moments experienced by the characters, creating an aesthetic that would spark curiosity and connection with the audience.
Solution
The solution was to build a visual identity based on warm and bright colors, simple typography, and balanced compositions, inspired by the atmosphere of the Brazilian coastline.
The visual language combines sensitivity, lightness, and clarity, creating posters and graphic materials that visually interpret the mood of the film: an unexpected encounter, small discoveries, and the feeling of wanting time to pass more slowly.
All materials were developed and finalized in Adobe Photoshop, structuring a cohesive visual communication aligned with the narrative of the short film.
